Dabei ist es jetzt so wichtig wie nie, dar\u00fcber zu sprechen, wie wir Demokratie nicht nur bewahren, sondern auch weiterentwickeln k\u00f6nnen. Dieses Buch soll auch Trost f\u00fcr all jene sein, denen die Zeiten grimm und ohne konkrete Handlungsm\u00f6glichkeiten erscheinen.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In deinem Buch stellst du dein Projekt aula vor. K\u00f6nntest du uns n\u00e4her erl\u00e4utern, wof\u00fcr die Abk\u00fcrzung aula steht und was dieses Projekt genau umfasst?<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Marina Weisband:<\/strong> \u201caula\u201d steht f\u00fcr \u201causdiskutieren und live abstimmmen\u201d &#8211; das ist genau, was die Sch\u00fcler*innen an einer aula-Schule tun. Jede weiterf\u00fchrende Schule kann zu einer aula-Schule werden. Sie entschlie\u00dft sich, ihre Sch\u00fcler*innen dauerhaft, verbindlich und umfassend an der Gestaltung ihres Schulalltags zu beteiligen. Was sind die Hauptvorteile dieses Ansatzes f\u00fcr die Sch\u00fcler*innen und die Schulgemeinschaft?<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Marina Weisband:<\/strong> Wer wir in der Gesellschaft sind, das lernen wir w\u00e4hrend des Aufwachsens. In der Schule lernen wir \u00fcber Jahre: wir k\u00f6nnen nur wenig \u00fcber unsere Umwelt bestimmen, wir m\u00fcssen Anforderungen erf\u00fcllen und uns gut Wissen merken. So kann man leicht zu dem Eindruck kommen, man sei lediglich \u201cBesucher\u201d oder \u201cKonsument\u201d von Gesellschaft. Ich aber will, dass Menschen hineinwachsen in die Rolle von Gestalter*innen. Dass sie sich verantwortlich f\u00fchlen f\u00fcr sich und andere. Das ist der Kern von Demokratie. Sie machen etwas eigenes aus dem Projekt. Bewegend fand ich zum Beispiel die Einf\u00fchrung eines gemeinsamen w\u00f6chentlichen Stufenfr\u00fchst\u00fccks an einer Schule, das die Schulgemeinschaft n\u00e4her zusammen gebracht hat. Oder als an einer anderen Schule die Sch\u00fcler*innen buchst\u00e4blich das B\u00fcro des Schulleiters belagert haben, bis der die vorher vereinbarte Umsetzung einer Idee auch erlaubt hat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Der Untertitel deines Buches lautet \u201cWilder denken, wirksam handeln\u201d \u2013 Wie k\u00f6nnen Lehrkr\u00e4fte trotz eines vollen Lehrplans Raum und Zeit schaffen, um die Selbstwirksamkeit der Sch\u00fcler*innen zu f\u00f6rdern?<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Marina Weisband:<\/strong> Zeit ist das knappste Gut der Schule. Praktisch gehen wir das mit verschiedenen Schulen verschieden an. Sie schaffen die didaktische Begleitung des Projekts in der Klassenratsstunde, in einem Teil des Fachunterrichts oder in den Pausen. Theoretisch muss aula nicht viel Zeit einnehmen &#8211; doch je mehr Zeit in Reflexion und Gespr\u00e4ch man investiert, desto tiefer ist das Lernen \u00fcber die eigene Rolle und die Bed\u00fcrfnisse der anderen. Dass Schule nicht genug Raum daf\u00fcr hat, ist ein politischer Skandal. Deshalb wirke ich auch auf politischer Ebene f\u00fcr mehr Personal an den Schulen, weniger Pr\u00fcfungen und Noten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Du wirst oft gefragt, ob du nicht wieder in die Politik gehen m\u00f6chtest, um dort etwas zu bewirken. Du verneinst dies oft und weist darauf hin, dass du in den bestehenden Strukturen im Bildungsbereich nicht so agieren kannst, wie du es gerne w\u00fcrdest. Wenn du jedoch die M\u00f6glichkeit h\u00e4ttest, eine Schule von Grund auf neu zu gestalten, ohne R\u00fccksicht auf Lehrpl\u00e4ne, wie s\u00e4he deine Traumschule aus?<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Marina Weisband<\/strong>: Varianten meiner Traumschule gibt es schon in der Praxis. Wir wissen ja seit vielen Jahren, wie Schule besser gehen k\u00f6nnte. An den Montessori-Schulen, den demokratischen Schulen, den Modellschulen, k\u00f6nnen wir das ganz praktisch beobachten. Schule mit offenem Anfang, viel Selbstbestimmung \u00fcber das eigene Lernen, keine Noten sondern Feedback, kein Hetzen von Pr\u00fcfung zu Pr\u00fcfung sondern ein Nachgehen der eigenen Neugier. Klassen- und fach\u00fcbergreifend lernen und sowohl Lernender als auch Lehrender sein. Nicht zu fr\u00fch morgens mit dem Lernen anfangen und sich beim Lernen bewegen &#8211; die Psychologie hat die N\u00fctzlichkeit all dessen l\u00e4ngst nachgewiesen. Es fehlen Mut und Geld im System.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Du erw\u00e4hnst, dass aula auch au\u00dferhalb des schulischen Kontextes Beachtung finden kann, beispielsweise durch die Durchf\u00fchrung lokaler Abstimmungen in Gemeinden. Gibt es bereits konkrete Beispiele hierf\u00fcr?<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Marina Weisband:<\/strong> Wir haben aula bereits in Jugendparlamenten eingesetzt und in Vereinen. Es wurde sogar &#8211; so habe ich geh\u00f6rt &#8211; mal ein Arbeitskampf per aula organisiert. Im Prinzip eignet es sich \u00fcberall da, wo eine feste Gruppe von Menschen, die sich pers\u00f6nlich kennen, \u00fcber eine l\u00e4ngere Zeit einen gemeinsamen Lebensraum gestalten.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Welchen Ratschlag w\u00fcrdest du Lehrkr\u00e4ften geben, um die F\u00f6rderung von Demokratie auch im kleinen Rahmen umzusetzen?<br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Marina Weisband:<\/strong> Ich h\u00f6re oft, dass man in der Schule sehr wenig Freiheiten hat. Das stimmt bedingt. Es ist ein enges System, aber oft macht man es sich zu eng. Viele Dinge sind m\u00f6glich, wenn man sie einfach tut. Daf\u00fcr ist es gut, einfach zu machen und lieber um Verzeihung zu bitten, als um Erlaubnis.
