Latein ist kein Anwendungsfach im engeren Sinn, sondern ein Denk-, Analyse- und Interpretationsfach. Wir als Lateinlehrkr\u00e4fte arbeiten seit jeher mit Verfahren, die KI heute imitiert: Strukturieren, Vergleichen, Zerlegen von Sprache, Erkennen von Mustern, und sind es daher gewohnt, diese Prozesse transparent zu machen und kritisch zu begleiten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dar\u00fcber hinaus kann KI uns Lehrkr\u00e4fte dort entlasten, wo der Lateinunterricht traditionell zeitintensiv ist: bei der Vorbereitung von Texten, der Differenzierung von Aufgaben oder der Strukturierung komplexer Inhalte. Ich habe mich bereits relativ bald, nachdem ChatGPT f\u00fcr die \u00d6ffentlichkeit zug\u00e4nglich wurde, mit KI besch\u00e4ftigt und war von Anfang an von den M\u00f6glichkeiten fasziniert. Daraufhin habe ich mich zun\u00e4chst recht unsystematisch mit dem Thema besch\u00e4ftigt, indem ich mir Wissen angelesen und durch Youtube-Videos angeeignet habe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Als die KI-Bots dann auch qualitativ nochmals deutlich besser geworden sind (v. a. der Sprung 2024 von ChatGPT 4 auf 4o) und ich das Gef\u00fchl hatte, dass auch SuS zunehmend auf KI-generierte Inhalte zur\u00fcckgreifen, habe ich mir gedacht, dass ich nun wirklich an das Thema ran muss. Leider ist das deutsche Schulsystem bisweilen etwas tr\u00e4ge und bildet gesellschaftlich-technische Ver\u00e4nderungen oft nur mit recht langer Verz\u00f6gerung ab, so dass ich versucht habe, KI nun auch eigenst\u00e4ndig in meine berufliche Praxis zu integrieren. Ich nutze KI vor allem in Bereichen, in denen ich selbst auch die Kenntnisse habe, um die Inhalte und Sinnhaftigkeit der generierten Inhalte auch kompetent \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen zu k\u00f6nnen (z.Bsp. als Ideenb\u00f6rse und Impulse f\u00fcr meine eigene Unterrichtsgestaltung) oder wenn ich KI-Ausgaben unmittelbar \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen kann (z.Bsp. bei IT-Problemen).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prinzipiell sind fehlerhafte KI-Inhalte aber auch nicht rein negativ zu beurteilen, sondern gerade als Lehrer kann man derartige Produkte auch als didaktische Chance begreifen, indem man SuS bewusst mit fehlerhaften KI-Inhalten konfrontiert und sie diese \u00fcberpr\u00fcfen, beurteilen und ggf. sogar verbessern l\u00e4sst (z.Bsp. ein KI-generierter \u00dcbersetzungstext). Dadurch schult man nicht nur die unmittelbaren Fachkenntnisse, sondern vermittelt auch gleichzeitig einen kritischen Umgang mit KI, eine vermutlich absolut zentrale Kompetenz in den n\u00e4chsten Jahren und Jahrzehnten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Weiterhin gilt es auch noch zu bedenken, dass die Qualit\u00e4t der generierten Antworten auch in hohem Ma\u00df von der Eingabe und geeigneten Prompts abh\u00e4ngt. So gibt es durchaus auch Prompting-Techniken (z.Bsp. Feedbackschleifen, Self-Consistency-Prompting etc.), mit deren Hilfe KI-Fehlausgaben zwar nicht v\u00f6llig ausgemerzt, aber doch zumindest stark minimiert werden k\u00f6nnen.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-58366 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/fobizz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Einsatz-von-KI-im-Lateinunterricht-2-1030x579.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1030\" height=\"579\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Inwiefern k\u00f6nnen KI-gest\u00fctzte \u00dcbungen zur Grammatik und \u00dcbersetzung Sch\u00fcler*innen helfen, ein tieferes Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr eine Sprache zu entwickeln, die nicht mehr gesprochen wird?<\/strong><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Daniel Conley:<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Das gr\u00f6\u00dfte Potential sehe ich in Bezug auf Binnendifferenzierung und KI-Tutoring. Als Lateinlehrer sind wir ja oftmals mit dem Problem konfrontiert, dass traditionelle Aufgabenformate wie die lateinisch-deutsche \u00dcbersetzung in vielen Lerngruppen enorm gro\u00dfe Leistungsunterschiede nach sich ziehen. Einigen SuS gelingt dies hervorragend, anderen hingegen bereitet die statarische \u00dcbersetzung schon von Beginn an gro\u00dfe Probleme.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Eine M\u00f6glichkeit, dieses Problem abzumildern und auch leistungsschw\u00e4cheren SuS Erfolgserlebnisse zu erm\u00f6glichen, ist die Erstellung von Aufgaben oder Texten mit gestaffeltem Schwierigkeitsgrad. Bislang war die h\u00e4ndische Erstellung von derartigen binnendifferenzierten Formaten immer stets mit hohem Aufwand seitens des Lehrers verbunden. Durch KI k\u00f6nnen nun relativ leicht binnendifferenzierte Aufgaben auch zu einem vertretbaren Aufwand erstellt werden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F\u00fcr ebenfalls gewinnbringend halte ich auch die M\u00f6glichkeit, SuS &#8211; zumindest zeitweise &#8211; auch eine KI-Assistenz zur Verf\u00fcgung zu stellen, um einen Ansprechpartner f\u00fcr individuelle Grammatik- oder \u00dcbersetzungsfragen zu haben. Eine zentrale Herausforderung f\u00fcr uns als Lehrerinnen und Lehrer ist dabei allerdings, unseren SuS nahezubringen, wie KI sinnvoll als unterst\u00fctzendes Tool gebraucht werden kann, anstatt sich einfach nur KI-generierte L\u00f6sungen ausgeben zu lassen. Andernfalls besteht nat\u00fcrlich die Gefahr, dass gewisse F\u00e4higkeiten verk\u00fcmmern oder gar nicht erst entwickelt werden.
